Murray's made it in 4 sets against Wawrinka
Garbine Muguruza has beaten Serena Williams 7-5 6-4 to become French Open Ladies Champion.
As usual commentators making excuse that Serena not 100% fit, some are right brown nosers when it comes to her. Well done Garbine!
Nice to see a new winner.
Agree. It's always nice to see a new winner. But lot of the ladies first time winners of grand slam and they disappear off the radar. There's been quite a few female winners past ten years we can mention. That's why serena is still a great player and has dominated the women's tennis.
Jo Kontaa new ranking high at 18.

Tara Moore having a good grass court season getting to final of Eastbourne and qualifying and winning a main draw match at Nottingham
The Internation Tennis Federation will be making a decision at 4pm on Maria Sharapovas after she failed a drugs test earlier this year

Update: They have given her a 2 year ban. But she's already 6 months into the ban
Might work out well for her she will be 30 when she returns in Jan 2018 Serena Williams will prob have retired and she will have had a 2 year layoff
Sharapova is intending to appeal against the ban via the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
^Not surprised given that there now seems to be an amnesty for those who tested positive after Jan 1st due to study saying this drug can stay in system for several weeks/months after you last take it
