Tough test in round two though.
Elina Svitolina.
And despite Raducanu winning the first set in a tiebreak Svitolina recovered to win 6-7 (5-7) 7-6 (7-3) 6-1.
Yeah, did well to push a better player so well for 2 sets. Maybe she'll have better luck in the Aussie Open?

Osaka lost to Pliskova too.
Tip for a future great British tennis prodigy.
Hannah Klugman.

Going to be a star.
Got every shot in the book.
Only 14.
Watch out Smile.
Sky to launch dedicated Tennis channel on February 11th.
Jodie Burrage made her first WTA event quarter-final last week at the Linz Open, but lost to former Grand Slam champ Jelena Ostapenko.

Emma Raducanu got a good win in her 1st round at the - ahem - Abu Dhabi Open, and meets the impressive Ons Jabeur next.
Jabeur won easily in straight sets.

Meanwhile, Heather Watson got a big win over Veronica Kudermetova in the Provence Open (?)
Watson lost her follow-up in straight sets.

But fear not, Harriet Dart won through to the quarter-finals of the Transylvania Open. Because Tennis is such a boom sport, they can run 5 tournaments in the same week!
Dart won through to her first WTA Semi. However she's got former World #1 Karolina Pliskova next.
