Konta has been beaten 7-5 6-2 by Kerber Sad.
Kerber goes on to play Serena Williams who trounced Agnieszka Radwanska 6-0 6-4.
Well done Konta for getting to semi's good progress and way up world rankings and a decent payday.Enjoyed watching very much.
It was fun while it lasted. Nice work if you can get it. & other clichés Tongue

Jamie Murray into the Men's Doubles final!
Yeah she got 400,000 for reaching semi nice work if u can get it Wink Wink
Djokovic has just destroyed Federer in the 1st set of their semi 6-1
Konta will shoot up to 27 in the world rankings after her heroics in the Aussie open this week Smile
Is Serena Williams actually a bloke?
Djokovic ultimately prevailed in his semi final against Federer winning 6-1 6-2 3-6 6-3.

Andy Murray will face fast improving Milos Raonic in the other semi final at 08:30am UK time tomorrow.
Raonic is playing well so this is no easy task for the Scot.
Konta just came up against a more solid player in Kerber. There can be no disgrace in defeat though, she's had a wonderful tournament and rightfully deserves her place inside the world's top 30. Now the Aussie's are trying to claim her as their player. No! She's ours, so hands off! Tongue

Federer just can't last with Djokovic in the majors. He can beat him in best of 3 set matches, but over 5 sets he just can't match up. There's only two players in my view who can match Djokovic closely in five sets - Murray and Wawrinka, and from those two, only Wawrinka has the power to actually outlast him and beat him, as he proved in the French Open final last year and the Australian Open quarter final in 2014. Murray can live with him for four sets, but the problem is that by the fifth set he's spent and Djokovic still seems to have another gear left. So whoever wins from Murray or Raonic, I can't see the Serb losing.
Gordon Reid has reached the final of the wheelchair men's singles Tongue
