Konta lost in 3 sets Sad

Federer beat Raonic and is #1 again
^ yeah disappointment for all 3 Brits in final action, Dan Evans lost in 2 tight sets 7-6,7-5 and Heather Watson and partner lost as well
Naomi Broady, Katie Boulter, Liam Broady, Gabriella Taylor, Harriet Dart, Katie Swan, Katy Dunne and Jay Clarke have been given Wimbledon wild cards into the main draw.

Dan Evans will have to come through Qualifying
Federer lost in the final at Halle to some random rookie, even though i think Fed is the greatest of all time i think he should retire after Wimbledon, i hope he doesn't tarnish his legacy by going on for too long, he might be less injury prone than the likes of Nadal, Novak and Murray but you can't ignore age
Federer lost to Coric - who is one of the next generation and hardly a random rookie, in my opinion.

However, if it's a Federer vs Djokovic final, I'd be tempted to back Novak. He's shown he's the only one who can beat Fed in a Wimbledon final in recent years. It's just the mental game with Djokovic. The game's there, the playing level is back to near his best, it's overcoming the mental frailty as he showed against Cilic in the Queens final. Cilic is the other form player having reached two of the last four major finals.

I don't think it will be long though before Djokovic begins to take more majors again. I don't want Federer to retire though. He's still a big draw. People want to see him on the tour, playing in grand slams. As long as he continues to enjoy it, despite his advancing years, I think he'll carry on.
how many more years do you think Federer has left?
At least another four or five, obviously depending on how much he keeps winning. If losing becomes a habit, as Joey alluded to, he may want to pack it in. If he's still at the top and making major finals, I think he'll carry on.

It will be a sad day when he does retire though. I know we can't all go on forever, but with a player as good as he's been, you just don't want that day to come.
Serena Williams seeded 25 at Wimbledon, means she won't face a seeded player in the 1st 2 rounds
Genie Bouchard has come through qualifying to reach Wimbledon main draw
Laura Robson to have hip surgery to hopefully solve problem she has had since the start of 2018
