Andy Murray has been drawn to play controversial Australian Nick Kyrgios in the first round of the US Open.
Murray has a potential nightmare draw.
Obviously Kyrgios in round one.
Potentially he might have to face French Open champion Wawrinka in the last eight, multiple slam champion Federer in the last four and Djokovic in the final.
Woah that is about as tough as it gets.
given Kyrgios got a suspended 28 day ban and fine for comments he made picked up on courtside mics about Stan Warwrinka's girlfriend Donna Vekic, any verbal outbursts could see his match with Murray end abruptly
Jo Konta has qualified for US Open, Kyle Edmund served for match at 5-3 in 3rd set and 3 match points at 5-4 but eventually lost 7-5 in 3rd set

Naomi Broady lost in 3 sets and Brydan Klein lost in straight sets
Maria Sharapova has pulled out of the US Open due to injury Sad.
Heather Watson is out of the US Open, losing 7-6 7-6 to Lauren Davis.
In the last slam she pushed Serena Williams. This time she gets beat by an unknown American bladewave
Surprise defeat for Japan's 4th seed Kei Nishikori in 5 sets to Frenchman Benoit Paire.

If you are going to win got to play the best sometime I suppose.
Kyrgios is perfect for Murray. Murray is superb at making his opponent play more shots than he wants to. If ever there were a guy Kyrgios would go Into self destruct mode against it would be Murray. I think Kyrgiios is one of the most overrated players to have played the game. Still dines off that victory against a declining Nadal last year. He beat WAwrinka this year but that was best of 3 sets. I would be shocked if out British legend should succumb to Kyrigos and become a Scottish ****Tongue
Jo Konta and Laura Robson matches on Eurosport today as they are 1st & 2nd on court 11. Jo is 3-2 on serve against Chirico(USA)
