We had Maria Sakkari as no 1 seed, Beatriz Haddid Meia (defending champion) no 2 seed and Alize Corner who beat Iga Swiatek at Wimbledon last year and Camila Giorgi 5th seed so they were some decent players in the tournament

Seems Laura Robson has become the tournament director of the Nottingham Tournament
Katie Boulter and Andy Murray less successful this week, though Cameron Norrie and Harriet Dart have kept the flag flying a few days longer.
Norrie got nocked out in straight sets in the quarter-finals.
Last remaining Briton Harriet Dart saw her run in the Birmingham Classic ended in the quarter finals by Anastasia Potapova 4-6 6-3 6-4.
Carlos Alcaraz has beaten Alex De Minaur 6-4 6-4 to claim the title at Queen's Club.

Dart and Burrage's recent winning form continued at Eastbourne.
When will we get to see the draws?
Katie Boulter suffered another disappointing first round defeat this time at Eastbourne.
She was beaten 6-4 7-5 by Petra Martic of Croatia.
