Could be a great chance for Konta to make the final. If she can get past Zhang, I'd give her a good shot against either Kerber or Azarenka. They can both be hit and miss at times, especially when they're playing someone who makes it awkward for them, gets them rattled. Jo could definitely do that.
OK, so I'm getting a little ahead here... but what the heck - let's enjoy this Konta run for a little longer.
At the start of the tournament I thought it would be a Serena Williams v Victoria Azarenka final.
I haven't seen anything to change my mind yet.

Her match is immediately followed by Andy Murray v David Ferrer in the mens quarter final.

Azarenka beaten 6-3 7-5 by Angelique Kerber in a high quality match.
Azarenka led 5-2 with a double break in set 2 but capitulated to allow the German to claim her first win in 7 attempts against the Belarusian former champion.
Konta up shortly.
Johanna Konta has sealed her place in the semi finals after a 6-4 6-1 victory over Zhang Shuai and in so doing becoming the first British woman to reach a Grand Slam semi final since Jo Durie in 1983. She will meet Angelique Kerber for the right to play in the final.
Andy Murray's also through to the semis.
He's beaten David Ferrier by 3 sets to one.
Jamie Murray is in the semis of the Mens Doubles as well.
Just a shame Konta isn't playing Mixed Doubles with one of the Murray brothers.

Just put bet on Konta and murray to both win outright at 75/1 long shot seeing as prob be djokovic and Serena Williams in finals with them
Dont know depends what serena shows up on finals day heather watson showed Serena can be got at especially when the crowd is not in her favour like that wimbledon match she nearly lost to watson in the summer. Guessing the crowd will be for Konta especially as shes british and also the fact the aussies think she is the one that got away as she lived in australia till she was 12
