Emma Raducanu is into the quarter-finals of the Korea Open this week.
She's made the semis! Apparently her first time putting 3 wins a row together since that US Open win. But next meets top seed and another former Grand Slam winner, Jelena Ostapenko.
She won the first set, but got injured during the second, and then withdrew during the third. Otherwise, a productive week after recent stresses and strains.
Dan Evans reached the semi-final of the San Diego Open before losing to Marcos Giron in straight sets.
Cameron Norrie and Liam Broady reached the quarter-finals of two different tournaments and then withdrew because of injuries or something.
Emma Raducanu has been picked to lead the GB team at the forthcoming Billie Jean Cup, despite her injury issues. But she's looking for another new coach as Dmitry Tursunov has left her to pursue some other option.
Former Wimbledon and French Open champion Simona Halep has been provisionally suspended from tennis after testing positive for banned substance Roxadustat.
Jessica Pegula beat Maria Sakkari to win the Guadalajara Open, her first WTA title, apparently:

She didn't make it.

Team GB nearly made a shock early exit after defeat to the fearsome, er, Kazakhstan, but they rallied to a shock whitewash over Spain, and made it to the semi-finals. At this point it was said this was GB's best showing for 41 years, which makes the "shock exit" story look a bit thin ("GB do about as well as usual" presumably is less clickworthy).

GB battling Australia right this minute.
