If the don't let him in I wonder if they will allow Andy Murray in at his expense. How the hell did Novak EXACTLY get exemption if all other players have to prove they had vaccinations?
He will need to prove his exception to the Australian customs officers or they say he will be on the next plane home.
The effort involved in wriggling out of this will make the 20 Grand Slams look like a piece of cake.
Djokovic has currently been denied entry to Australia as he does not have a valid visa. It seems one of his support team applied for the wrong type of visa Big Laugh He's currently in the immigration area and the Federal Government have said they won't help him current the mistake. In similar circumstances people are put on the next flight home so we'll see what happens
Sounds a bit odd to me. Djokovic has been traveling the world for years, surely his team know what type of visa he needs.

It seems the type applied for can't be used with a Covid vaccination exemption so it might have been one he normally uses
I never realised what a common boys name Sydney was

The BBC have just reported that Australia have cancelled Djokovics Visa and he will be deported.
^ 'Tennis Australia' had granted him a medical excemption from covid vaccination rules but after outrage in Australia their border forces cancelled his visa.
So it looks like he flew into Melbourne, he was kept at the airport, and he's now being flown out on the first available plane.
I do think someone on his team has made a very big cock up. But now, I am wondering how this could even play out if he tries to get into the French or Wimbledon on a exemption. I will admit the situation could be different by the time those tournamenta are played, but whether he will face the same level of outrage as he has in Melbourne. I don't feel sorry for him
