He's also cleared to compete at the Australian Open in January.

Joe Salisbury won the ATP Doubles with Rajeev Ram as well, the first Briton to win (it says there).
The second day of the Battle of the Brits tennis event is on BBC Red button later today from Aberdeen.

It features Team Scotland v Team England with the highlight on the second day being the Murray brothers playing doubles for Team Scotland.
Emma Raducanu's injured again, this time it an ankle injury.
So it looks like she's going to miss the Australian Open, not that I can view it on Discovery plus
Cameron Norrie has had decent preparation for a tilt at the Australian Open with a deep run in the Auckland Open in New Zealand.

Unfortunately he lost the final in three sets to Richard Gasquet but still he looks to be in decent form heading to Melbourne Park.
History made on the men's pro circuit as Wu Yibing has become the first Chinese man to win on the ATP Tour.
He won the Dallas Open by beating John Isner 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (14-12).
Cameron Norrie is into the semi finals of the Argentina Open after a three set win over home player Tomas Martin Etcheverry in Buenos Aires.
Norrie into the final after getting past Juan Pablo Varillas of Peru 7-6 (7-5) 6-4.
Useful ranking points gained.

He will face World number two Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
Alas Alcaraz proved too good and won the final 6-3 7-5.
However..........

The Rio Open final between the same two players had a very different outcome.
Norrie brilliantly recovered from a set down to beat Alcaraz 4-6 6-4 7-5 and claim the title.
