It's Belgium away.
Their highest ranked player is David Goffin.
I would imagine the Belgians will try to negate Andy Murray and his brother Jamie by playing the final on an ultra slow clay court Rolleyes.
the cheek if they do!!! Tongue
Well it makes sense especially as Belgium don't exactly have world beaters on their team.
Make the rallies longer by virtue of an ultra slow surface.
Exhaust Andy Murray over longer matches so he has maximum difficulty winning three matches in three days.
Will be interesting who would be no 2 player as Kyle Edmund and James Ward are better than Dan Evans on clay
Interesting situation brewing regarding Andy Murray and his Davis Cup Final preparation.
Murray appeared to suggest the option of missing the ATP Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in favour of preparing on clay for a likely clay court final in Belgium.
This on the basis that if he reached the final of the Tour Finals he would only have a few days rest before the Davis Cup Final.
The ATP seem to have indicated though that they expect Murray to play at the Tour Finals which are played on a hard court.
Would he be fined or docked points, if he chose to prepare for the final over the ATP Tour Finals?
The ATP Tour Finals carry a lot of world ranking points, Murray will have to consider if he can afford to lose out on those by not competing :

ATP and ITF really need to get together and schedule Davis Cup better so that more top players commit to play in competition. Having ties a week after Wimbledon, US Open and World Tour Finals will not encourage top players to make it a priority in their schedule. Neither Roger Federer or Stan Wawrinka committed to play in 1st tie after they won the competition last year although both played in relegation play off last weekend.
Jo Konta and Heather Watson both qualified for the Wuhan Open. Jo Konta beat Andrea Petkovic in 1st round, Heather Watson lost to Jelena Jankovic tonight meaning Jo Konta becomes British No 1. Naomi Broady got to final of ITF Albuquerque losing to Michaela Kraijicek
Jo Konta beat Victoria Azarenka 6-4, 1-0 retired at Wuhan Open
