Seems Laura Robson has had to have another operation on her hip and is questionable whether she will ever get back to playing tennis.

Real shame that her career has been blighted by injury after injury

She also has had many injury free times, and made little of them. Like every British player - bar Andy Murray - she has flattered to deceive (not achieve). That is our issue with British sport - despite only a few success stories - particularly in recent history, we have constantly held not quite good enough up as some how being 'champion status' with the infamous 'plucky' brit syndrome. In the states and Australia etc such performances would not even get the sports 'star' a passing mention! We did the same with Tim Henman and he won diddly squat of note!
Katie Boulter beat Coco Gauff in the Gippsland Trophy and plays Naomi Osaka next.

Jo Konta also won.

Boulter lost to Osaka, but Konta got beat too.
Dan Evans won the Murray Walker River Open, his 1st ever ATP event win.
Congrats to Dan and Andy Murray didn't mince his words about him getting covid did he?
Cameron Norrie has beaten Dominic Thiem along his way to the semis of the Lyon Open.
He trounced Khachanov in the semi and meets Tsitispas the Greek in tomorrow's final.

Gauff beat Wang Qiang in her final today to win the Emilia-Romagna Open.

Does any sport beat Tennis for the breadth of tournaments? There seem to be several nearly every week, with wacky names and locations optional.
Tsitsipas won in straight sets.
In other news, Jo Konta just won the Nottingham Open, beating Zhang Shuai in straight sets. She reached the final of that tournament in 2017 & 2018, so this was third time lucky.
