Only positive I can take from Dunfermline's defeat today is that we are 5 points ahead of 5th p!ace.Need big performance at home to Stranraer next week
Hamilton won and East Stirling lost.
The ironic thing about the Championship now is Hearts are doing the exact opposite to what they did last season. Last season at this time it was a question of when and not if they would be relegated. This season it's the other way around, even without playing a game today they are still 9 points ahead. I had to laugh at the commentator on BT Sports on Friday night when he kept referring to Rangers being in a title race, what race. The league is Hearts as far as I'm concerned.
As for the game itself. Rangers players are the highest paid in Scotland outside of Celtic but they were made to look like shoddy amateurs with Queen of the South looking like what Rangers used to be like 5 years ago. I happen to think that the 2nd goal was an absolute cracker. If any player in the English Premiership were to do that they'd still be talking about it in weeks to come.
As for Ally Mccoist, what a farce, they can't afford to put him on gardening duty or pay him off so here we have a manager in place now that is forced to work against his will. It's almost like his tactics were deliberate, play everybody out of position in the hope of getting the sack instead
As for my own team Dundee United today - I make no comment other than we got beat but I'm not too downtrodden about it as reading about Rangers cheers me up to no end
I think that the Comedy Central Channel should air the rest of their games for the remainder of this season

Yeah, I think the massive points deduction they never shook off might have been a bigger factor than any slackadaisical teamwork
I never knew Strawberry Switchblade were Scottish. I realise this doesn't really have anything to do with football... but this seemed the most useful place to mention it
Ally McCoist's resignation as manager has been confirmed by Rangers, Mark Roberts has been sacked by Ayr United and Jim Jefferies has resigned as Dunfermline Athletic manager leaving John Potter and Neil McCann to become manager and assistant manager until end of season.
John McGlynn has resigned as manager of Livingston fc
Hamilton at least managed to beat Ross County.
Dundee Utd beat Celtic 2-1 today.
John Potter lost 1st game as Dunfermline Athletic, disappointed we didn't do a lotbetter with chances we had, hopefully of an improvement of form
Seeing as its Christmas I'll let DUFC have their 3 points. would have been a different result if Scrooge, sorry the referee had given Celtic at least one of the two cast iron penalty decisions, and not chopped off a perfectly good goal for offside...
Hail Hail
