Brechin who could have gone 10 points adrift had they lost to Forfar on Tuesday with wins over Forfar 4-0 and Ayr 1-0 are 1 point behind Forfar and 4 behind Cowdenbeath at bottom of League One.

East Stirling losing is even more so, because Montrose are the sort of team we ought to be beating if we're going to get off the bottom of the table. Had we done so, there would be just 2 points separating the bottom 4 teams. As it is, we're still 3 behind Berwick
Eddie Wolecki Black, the Airdrie manager took ill during half time break at their game at Cowdenbeath. He was taken to Kirkcaldy hospital and is stable. Initial reports were he might had suffered stroke but these have not been confirmed. Club statement says he is in stable condition in hospital and thanks both their phsyio and Cowdenbeath's medical staff for their quick actions.
Tests have confirmed he suffered a stroke and he has been transferred to specialist stroke central at hospital in Edinburgh.
