Yes I watched large parts of both games and they were both crackers. What odds would anyone have got on two 4-3 scorelines in the semis. Amazing really.

I've got to say todays semi final more than matched anything we'd seen yesterday. As a Dundee United supporter I'm absolutely gutted but also very proud of my team. It was a very close affair and I never expected my side to churn out such a performance. I'm used to hard luck stories having followed my team all of my life and this one is certainly up there. Celtic certainly knew they were in a game today.

At one point I was thinking about the travel arrangements for Cup Final day. Not to be sadly. Anyway I just hope that the final lives up to the spectacle that the Semi's provided us with. Talking now as a neutral I think it would be great to see Hibs finally lift the cup which I don't think anybody in Scottish football would grudge other than the Hearts fans I suspect.

It is ironic that the SPL still have an 11-1 Old Firm style voting system in place and that because of that the 12-12-18 planned reconstruction has been rejected due to St Mirren and Ross County voting against it.

For Stewart Milne(Aberdeen Chairman) and others complaining about decision, you have to ask why with Rangers out of the picture that the other clubs didn't insist on bringing in a new fairer, say 9-3 or 8-4 voting system at start of this season. The fact that they didn't means they have no one to blame for rejection of the planned reconstruction than themselves

I see they have fixed it to be 9-3 next time. I say well done to the objectors, it was a stupid plan.

Doesn't seem long since I was enjoying East Stirling winning 3 matches in a row. And today we managed to ensure we finish last, even with a few games of the season left

Still I think I noticed Rangers losing again, so a mixed day.
