Not a Chelsea fan then... bladewave What team do you support bigguy ?
no one in particular, if the rumours are true about certains players at chelski getting rid off several managers over the last few years than shame on them. abramovich should sack the lot not the manager.
Getting slightly off topic now, but I'd assume that what you read in the papers is massively blown out of proportion. There are more reasons why it wouldn't be true then it would be true. But hey, whatever sells a few thousand copies of the Sun.

Anyway, back on topic, yes the two said players should be massively applauded for what they've done

Absolutely loving the turmoil at Rangers. Hope their death is a slow and painful one.
Tiocfaidh ár lá Wink Probably tomorrow...
Think the trouble at Rangers is systematic of the problems which currently effect the whole of football... But where money is concerned they should be treated the same as any other business
director dave king says liquidation is inevitable however former driector paul murray says its not true and has offered a conditional offer to buy the club before the march 16th deadline. david murray previous chairman/owner will be making an statement about dave king's statement. paul murray should be not allowed to buy the club since he was part the alledged illegal contract and tax dodging regime with his dad in charge. rangers, in whatever guise, should be allowed to stay in spl, join the english football, they should start at the bottom of scottish and earn their place. afc wimbledon did it when the owners moved to milton keynes which mk dons should have done the same since they are a different team from wimbledon fc (Selhurst).

the administrators are in a catch 22 if the made players redundent that will put potential buyers off and weaken the team and rangers will be liquidated or if the administrators manage to get the wage reductions but fail to get a buyer for rangers then they will be liquidated.

the new owner would need mutli millions to pay off the debts. also more transprancy of the owner and board.
To be honest I stopped feeling much sympathy for anyone related to clubs who go into administration a long time ago - other than the non-playing staff who are probably going to get screwed out of wages owing to them. Too many clubs go into administration nowadays, pay a pittance towards their debts and then start off from square one. I don't even feel sorry for the "innocent" supporters - for the most part they're happy for their clubs to overspend as long as their results are good.

at the moment i have sympathy for rangers and portsmouth but if a club that was well run and then gets into trouble through fault of their own say relegation then thats a different matter. rangers and portsmouth brought the problems they have on themselves. rangers through tax dodging, spend more money than they have to keep up with celtic, pompey its the owners.
