Indeed, not bad for a team that until recently had an average age of 20

Yes, despite Saturday, Aberdeen came through when it counted Cool

Oh, and I see Dunfermline won again, set solid for 2nd place it seems Smile
Seems Kevin Kyle is hanging up his boots at end of season because of his treatment by referees, after he thought he was fouled in lead up to Dunfermline's first goal on Saturday(he may have had case with that) and he wanted a penalty in second half(no chance) from which Dunfermline broke and scored their third goal

Dundee Utd won last night, but Aberdeen, Celtic & Motherwell all won today.

East Stirling lost 4-0 away, but so did Berwick and Elgin, so it's clearly one of those days.
Seems there has been an allegation that East Stiring player Jordan Tapping was racially abused at Peterhead yesterday and according to a statement by East Stirling had suffered "extreme distress" which lead to the manager subbing him during the game.
Can I just first and foremost congratulate Aberdeen in beating Celtic twice in the course of just a few weeks, a lot of pride has been restored to that club, I still remember not too long Aberdeen got absolutely hammered 8-0 at Celtic Park so I think it's appropriate to mention just what a changed outfit they are these days after being the laughing stock of Scottish football for most of the 21st Century. Also quite rightly they've been tagged as favourites to win this seasons Scottish Cup.

On to this weekend, I don't think there was many surprises and I think it's only a matter of time now before relegation is confirmed for Hearts and not if as a 20 point deficit is just too much of a gap to realistically close down.

The results from this weekends Scottish Premiership went as follows.

Hibernian 1 Dundee United 3
Aberdeen 1 St Johnstone 0
Celtic 5 Inverness CT 0
Motherwell 4 Hearts 1
Ross County 1 Partick Thistle 1
St Mirren 2 Kilmarnock 0

On a personal note I'm absoutely delighted as thats now 4 wins on the trot for my Dundee United team Big Grin Fuck me we even missed 2 penalties and still managed to win Smile

Elsewhere in the championship it looks very tight and I strongly suspect its going to go right down to the wire with Dundee, Hamilton and Falkirk all winning. As you know the winners of this division are automatically promoted whilst the runners up will play the team in the Premiership that finishes in second bottom spot with a 2-legged Play Off at the end of the season.

And finally Rangers are only 2 wins away from winning League 1.

Seriously?! Sad What was wrong with "you're rubbish, you lot!"? annoyed

Re: Hamilton/Dundee/Falkirk - at least one division has such a tight contest going on. I am of course rooting for Hamilton Cool
How shit does Djemba-Djemba look for St Mirren. Legs have totally gone. He has to be shit if he cant even start in this Mirren team against a poor Kilmarnock team.
