Need to go calm down in a darkened room, that was tense but full time fitness finally helped Dunfermline Ath beat Stranraer 3-0 AET(FT 1-0) to win 4-2 on aggregate and into playoff final against Cowdenbeath who beat Ayr United 3-1(5-2 Aggregate) East Fife beat Clyde 2-1 today(3-3 on aggregate) AET East Fife win 7-6 on pens and beat Stirling Ablion who beat Annan 5-3 today(8-4 aggregate)

Falkirk have won 3-1 against QOTS AET to win 4-3 on aggregate and now meet Hamilton for right to meet Hibs
Oh well, certainly root for you to kick Cowdenbeath off the park, can't stick them.
With regards to the Play Off's I don't agree with the system at all. Hamilton who have been brilliant all season have to play 4 matches to give them a shot at replacing Hibs in the Premiership whilst Hibs only have to play twice to preserve their status. This is unfair, Hibs have been dreadful all season and should have been placed in the Semi Final which would have given more reward to the teams in the Championship that deserved a better crack than having to slug it out for 6 potential games.

BTW - Well done to Dundee last week. I'm delighted to see them back in the big time as that's 3 points guaranteed for us Arabs next season Big Grin
Well done to Motherwell on finishing as runners-up Smile

Hamilton's four extra games would mean they'd played 40 games this season* (36 in league + 4 play-off games); Hibs extra two means they will also have played 40 games (38 in league + 2 play-off games).

*not including cup competitions
disappointed that Ann Budge has sacked Gary Locke and Billy Brown and appointed Robert Neilson as first team coach and Craig Levein as director of football.

Also Danny Lennon has left St Mirren after the board decided not to renew his contract
Yes their is just no sentiment or loyalty anymore when to comes to football in general. I think Gary Locke should have at least been offered some sort of role after the way he put such a brave face on everything the entire season and proved to be such a great ambassador for the club. Craig Levien coming back to Hearts was always on the cards.

As for Danny Lennon, again this comes as no surprise but I find it truly appalling in the way St Mirren have treated him. Not only did he keep the buddies up this season once again but he also won the club the League Cup in 2013 for them. Mind you St Mirren famously sacked Alex Ferguson back in 1978 and look where his career ended up going Rolleyes
have to agree i think the playoff system in scotland is stupid the way it is, i hate the playoffs anyway in league 2 in england you can finish 7th and be promoted via the playoffs which is crazy, but i suppose if luton finish 7th next season and got promoted via the playoffs i won't be complaining, football fans eh what a fickle lot we are

There is a vacancy at Old Trafford, too... Tongue
Hamilton-Falkirk and Dunfermline-Cowdenbeath still level-pegging after the first leg...
