Ah the "good old days" standing, getting caught in surges and crushed. Cant describe the feeling having someone piss down the back of your leg. Standing also gives the numpty's lots more cover and manoeuvrability to cause trouble. And can confirm that at the time some of Dundee United's terracing was the steepest ever. Not a place to be if you suffered from vertigo. No just enjoy your comfy seats, IMO.
wasn't 3-0 as predicted, was 3-1,still won and through to the final
Just like to say what a glorious victory it was for us arabs today putting the glasgow govan's to the sword, totally playing them off the pitch in their own back garden. I can smell the Scottish Cup once again. Final Score from Ibrox. Rangers 0 Dundee United 2 Big Grin
wait until you meet us in the cup Tongue

We have an attrocious record against Celtic and if we can avoid them I'll be a very relived man. Playing Rangers on the other hand has never caused me any fear and you could see that today with the players as they simply dismissed them from the word go. Afterall the last time Rangers defeated Dundee United in the Scottish Cup was in 1989. Since then everytime they have played us they have lost in 1994, 2001, 2010 and now 2012. A very happy arab tonight Big Grin
Rangers seem to be in meltdown on and off the field. Going by the look on McCoist's face at the end its shit creek time!!!!

But the bottom line is Rangers are only as good as the opposition allows them to be. I was really pissed off with the bias from the BBC shown towards Rangers today, it was all about how bad they were when the truth of the matter was Dundee United were brilliant today and should be given all the credit rightly other than focusing on all the troubles at Ibrox. Just because you are a big team it doesn't give you the divine right to win trophies. Dundee United worked hard today for the victory and that should never be forgotten.
Have to agree Dundee United fully deserved their win, superior in every department. Certainly look like a team with ambition!!!!!
Well, congrats that you knocked them out before we could, the draw should be interesting tomorrow,we're on for the treble here, league cup final against Kilmarnock, couple of more rounds to get to the Scottish Cup final and only a narrow lead in the SPL,not bad considering we were 15 POINTS BEHIND a few months ago,i think this will be it,a treble and under Lennon as well, would be so glorious
things are going from bad to worse to absolute embrassment for rangers. only 1800 people at the game today in a 50000 seater ground. it does not help that the chairman was borrowed money against the future season ticket sales and the pending court case with the tax man which could see the club being liquidated and cease to exist.
