Ok so Celtic have won the newly named Scottish Premiership - I would say congratulations but I can't because that wouldn't be sincere. No disrespect intended to either the club or the supporters but I don't think it should list high on their achievements.

In the past yes it would have but lets not kid ourselves on here. Who else was going to win the league. The gulf between Celtic and the rest is massive. Sure on a one off match they can be beaten but over the course of a season they always had the resources to get past the winning post.

It will not be until Rangers are back again in the top league before they will realistically have any kind of challenge mounted to them. As a Dundee United supporter I'd dearly love to see my team win the league next season but I know that there isn't a cats chance in hell of that happening. My hopes are as always for us to win a Cup. I now have my match ticket for the Semi Final and hope that we fucking hammer Rangers after them being given an unfair advantage by being allowed to play at Ibrox. The match should have been moved to a neutral ground, the fact that it hasn't is an utter disgrace.

All the results from the Tuesday and Wednesday went as follows.

Tuesday 25th March 2014

Ross County 1 Aberdeen 1
St Mirren 0 St Johnstone 1

Wednesday 26th March 2014

Dundee United 2 Inverness CT 1
Partick Thistle 1 Celtic 5

A very good win for Dundee United last night, thats us closed the gap between us and Aberdeen in 2nd place to 5 points. We play Aberdeen this weekend Big Grin
I agree it's somewhat silly to dwell on who'll be the runners-up, but it's far more interesting than anything Celtic or Rangers can do. Particularly as the momentum has moved between Aberdeen, Dundee Utd and some of the others as the weeks have gone by.
East Stirling 1 Clyde 4 Sad

I mean, it's nice to feel disappointed that we're 6th, after seemingly endless seasons of being 10th. And we might yet turn it around for a play-off place. But I wouldn't bet on it.
