True.
Could have done without the huns getting a goal, but I think Motherwell have done enough. #FingersCrossed Wink
Well I watched the entire match on BT Sports and from what I seen Rangers have got no chance. Rangers were so poor that they made Motherwell look like Barcelona. I have to say Motherwell's Third goal was absolutely stunning Big Grin

Motherwell had pace, good tactics and good finishing. Rangers had none of that. The huns are an ageing side and it showed, their distribution in the final third was appalling, defending wise they were atrocious as they were outpaced and lacking structure as any half decent team could really put 5 or 6 past them easily Big Laugh

I'll be very surprised if Motherwell let a 2 goal lead going into the 2nd Leg slip now. When Stuart McCall stated in the papers that Rangers are no longer a Dick Advocate or Walter Smith team anymore he was spot on. I knew they'd get found out in this division after coasting their way to the title for the first 2 seasons Bounce
I am amused by David King saying that he thought Ranges would struggle in the Premiership but not the Championship when a big part of why they struggled this season is because he encouraged the fans to strave the club of money by not renewing their season tickets at end of last season at the very time Rangers needed their financial backing most as this was always going to be their toughest test in getting back to the top of Scottish football. David King is just reaping what he sowed.

In other news Steve Aitken has left Stranraer to become Dumbarton manager
Well a few years ago I said to a boasting Rangers fan I don't understand why your club is wasting money on big money signing aswell as having such a huge wage bill for the division they were in at the time.

Commonsense should have prevailed, there was no need to be going for League Point records. Rangers were always going to win The leagues in the 4th and 3rd Tiers of Scottish football as we all knew that was a formality. They could have still been champions such as only bringing in a few players of experience and they could have used their time in the lower reaches of Scottish football to build a team around the up and coming youth players.

Yes they would have lost a few games along the way but it would have been good financial management. They should have only spent big for the Championship League as everybody within the game knew that would be the moment in which they'd have to really up the ante for.

I shall now tell the same guy that I told you so. Although you can never fully write Rangers off to comeback in the 2nd Leg, unlike Hamilton last year they just don't look like a team that has the spirit and belief to fight back. I also can't see where they are going to get the goals from. If Motherwell score first then the tie is over and the mighty Gers will have to go back to govan and face a long summer of humiliation and it won't get any easier for them next season as I'm tipping Hibs for the league.
Well glad i decided to watch the final 20 mins the match because bbc coverage of FA cup was damm crappy

Didnt expect ICT to come back from being a man down and being dominated by falkirk great 2nd goal
Brian Reid is new manager of Stranraer
Congratulations to Inverness Caley Thistle. I think there Premiership experience showed, also another moment of history has been created as it's a first ever Scottish Cup success for them. A day the supporters will forever remember in years to come Smile
