Oh and also my Dundee United side finally won a league game in 2014 beating Kille 3-2 Smile (The full match can be viewed at 2025 on BBC Alba) Big Grin

All the Scottish Premiership results from today went as follows.

St Mirren 0 Aberdeen 1
Dundee United 3 Kilmarnock 2
Hibernian 2 Ross County 1
Inverness CT 0 Hearts 0
Motherwell 4 Partick Thistle 3

You have to tip your hat to Aberdeen as I don't think anybody expected them to be flying high in 2nd place maybe apart from the most die hard of die hard Don's supporters.

Hearts although still a massive 16 points behind might just surprise us all and pull off what would be the miracle of all miracles. If not then expect some cracking games next season in the Championship between them and Rangers which arguably will be more of an attraction than the majority of the games in the Premiership will be.
Rangers would still have a 100% record now if it wasn't for that silly last minute equalizer they conceded a few weeks ago, a shame really as i don't think i have seen any team win every single game in a whole season at a respectable level of football, it probably only happens in sunday league football, though i know SB probably hates Rangers so he don't give a shit, but im a stat man and like records
It seems weird that even without the 15 point deduction, Hearts would still be last. I read they've got some new investor, so maybe they're starting to turn the corner (gives Dundee, Hamilton & Falkirk something extra to strive for - if they don't get up this year, it might be a struggle next year).

I think Rangers' near-100% record is an embarrassment. They did far worse playing supposedly worse opposition in the bottom division.
fraser forster keeps 12th clean sheet in a row, 1125 minutes.
87 minutes away from uk football record
266 minutes away from new european record!

hope he does it. Smile
Given the fact that Hearts have had pretty much a youth team bar a few experienced players to this stage they would have been not that dissatisfied with been a point behind two other teams.

Rangers being full time whereas most teams in second division bar Dunfermline who like Hearts have effectively a youth team plus a few experienced players, you would expect Rangers to easily win title. Next year where most teams will be full time will be Rangers biggest test to see where they are at in terms of their ability to get back to where they were.

When Dundee Utd bt Motherwell last night (well done, btw), it looked good for Aberdeen. Sure enough, Aberdeen lost today.

East Stirling battled to a draw Smile

Even better, Rangers were held to a 3-3 draw by Stenhousemuir, who were in front at one point Big Grin
Good win for Dunfermline Athletic over Ayr United 3-0 to conslidate 2nd place behind Rangers in League 1
Forster finally beaten 41 minutes into game against Aberdeen
Well done Aberdeen spoiling the Tim Soldiers clean sheet record.
