East Stirling managed a draw at Peterhead after a very late equaliser, keeping us one point ahead of about 3 other teams. Our goal difference is pretty weak for a team at the top of the table, and we need some wins soon.
Amusing to see Scotland out-performing England once again Tongue
East Stirling lost to Clyde, who replace us at the top of the table. Annan's draw with Stirling keeps things tight at the top

Good to see Inverness still doing well in Butcher's absence
Duncan Shearer is in temporary charge of Inverness CT, I see Allan Moore got sacked by Morton after Saturday's game, David Hopkin(ex Leeds United, Scotland player) in temporary charge for cup tie at Inverness this coming weekend
will it be unlucky 13 for rangers tonight?
From a personal point of view it's been another fantastic weekend for me results wise as my Dundee United side continue to impress. All I can say is watch out to the rest of Scottish football and that includes Celtic because we're on fire right now and will show no mercy Smile

All the results from the Scottish Premiership went as follows

St Mirren 0 Hibernian 0
Celtic 3 Aberdeen 1
Dundee United 4 Partick Thistle 1
Hearts 2 Ross County 2
Inverness CT 1 St Johnstone 0
Kilmarnock 0 Motherwell 2

A solid start for Terry Butcher as his Hib's side gained a point away from home. Although Hearts left it late to gain a share of the spoils in reality it's a bad result, if they want to stand any chance of getting out of bottom spot then they really need to start picking up points at home and especially when against teams such as Ross County.

As for Inverness they continued their good run of form and showed no sign of the heads going down despite losing arguably their greatest manager of alltime. Celtic well as we know left it late to break hearts in Aberdeen. If teams are to beat Celtic this season then they are going to have to score more than once as Celtic yet again capitalized.

The current league table as it stands.

Elsewhere tonight it finished Abroath 0 Rangers 3 Cool
so rangers win again can they win every game this season? would that be a record if they won every game? rangers should play in the english conference next season as the scottish championship will be too easy for them as well, the conference is a tough league these days because dean brill can't get into the luton side but he is doing very well at caley thistle and they have signed him on a permanent deal, we have been stuck down there for 5 years now when we thought this league would be a doddle, no pun intended
Only if they get help from Referees!

That would look like they were running scared from playing Celtic again. Oh, and Dundee United obviously Wink

I'm kinda hoping that once they do get promoted back to the top division that they get mysteriously relegated to the Highland League instead, just for the laughs you understand.
This weekend was Scottish Cup action. A chance for your team to make it all the way to Hampden Park for the end of season finale. My last visit was in 2010 when I seen my Dundee United team defeat Ross County 3-0 to win the trophy for the second time in their history. Watching your team pick up the trophy is a dream come true for most supporters outwith the Old Firm.

All the results from the course of the weekend went as follows.

Dundee United 5 Kilmarnock 2
Falkirk 0 Rangers 2
Albion Rovers 1 Motherwell 0
Alloa 3 Stirling 2
Ayr United 1 Dunfermline 1
Berwick Rangers 1 Dumbarton 1
Brechin 1 Forfar 1
Clyde 1 Stranraer 1
Dundee 0 Raith Rovers 1
Inverness CT 4 Morton 0
Queen of Sth 2 St Mirren 2
Ross County 0 Hibernian 1
St Johnstone 2 Livingston 0
Stenhousemuir 3 Fraserburgh 0
Partick Thistle 0 Aberdeen 1
Hearts 0 Celtic 7

Firstly a special mention has to go to Albion Rovers, what a result for the part timers beating Motherwell.

On Friday night a truly devastating display from Dundee United put us firmly into the next round.

As for this afternoons game, I'll be honest with you. It was men against boys. Hearts got murdered and were actually lucky that Celtic took their foot off the peddle as Hearts were 5-0 down at half time.

The draw for the next round will be made tomorrow. 2 teams I'd imagine most will want to avoid must be Celtic and Dundee United who are both scoring for fun at the moment.
