The petition, accuses Cleverley of "inept" displays for both Utd & England, has gained over 10,000 signatures since it was posted.

Roy Hodgson isn't impressed.

how many did he sign? or more to the point how many forged his signature!!

God help us if the England team is picked by thousands of armchair supporters through social media campaigns. I find this rather worrying and does nothing to support either club or country.
I think fans should have every right to voice their opinion of a player, especially if it is for the national team.
Cleverely may be good-on the training pitch, but when it comes to a game, he's a let down. The odd decent tackle and touch don't make up for 88 minutes of rubbish. Honestly, playing with him is like playing with 10 men, there are plenty of other good english midfielders at 'lesser' teams who deserve a chance and should be ahead of him in the pecking order, Huddlestone and Barry come to mind.
If it is true that one city has run out of cash to finish it's stadium is it then likely how many more will follow suit? I am suddenly wondering how Brazil which has been one of the supposed 'new world' economies has allowed this situation to develop and I do wonder what will be the knock on effect for the Olympics.
