Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica are all dark horses

No, that's not true. This is the first time Greece has ever got beyond the group stage in a World Cup. They have done better in the Euros, but apart from lifting the trophy in 2004 the only other time they made it past the group stage was 2012.

Greece's win today was only the second time they have managed to win a World Cup match. In the 2004 Euros they won 4 matches, but apart from that have only won 1 other Euros match.
Fixtures:

Saturday 28th June 2014

Brazil v Chile 17:00
Colombia v Uruguay 21:00

Sunday 29th June 2014

Netherlands v Mexico 17:00
Costa Rica v Greece 21:00
I always expected Colombia and Chile to go far in this World Cup, to me the dark Horses are France and Netherlands.

In the case of Chile I presume you mean 'far' is round two Wink.

OK I will rephrase that... in my lifetime..

If you compare it to other bigger nations records in tournaments, and with the players they have available and an aging team, they have done extremely well and have progressed further than most people would ever expect them too over the last 15 years or so and Winning a Major Tournamnet along the way..

Which is More than Bigger nations like Portugal, England, Netherlands have achieved. All I was trying to say is over the last few tournaments they suprise a lot of people.

Obviously Rolleyes it's a shame it has to end like this for them laugh Wink I wanted Netherlands so we can get revenge for 2010!

More than the Netherlands?

In the timescale you mention Greece got past the group stage in tournaments 3 times, the Netherlands have done it 7 times. Greece won Euro 2004, but in the same time the Netherlands have 1 final appearance and 3 semi-final appearances. The total number of tournament matches won by Greece in that time is 7, the Netherlands have won 13.

No they don't.
Somebody informed me that if Chewy Suarez gets a ban from fifa that this will extend to domestic matches as well as international fixtures, can anybody validate this to be true?
