problem with Formula E is that you expect noise at a race i rememeber when they changed engines in F1 and just didnt sound right Formula E cars were silent Wink

They went into liquidation just after Christmas; was on all the racing websites at the time. Sad to hear they couldn't come to some mutual agreement to keep going, but clear they hadn't the backing. Possible all this change happening with the new owners causing certain brands to hold back with sponsorship money until they see what changes will be made. I like the idea of the bigger tyres & less downforce making the cars less of a computer and more down to the driver's skills... If I've got that right...?

From what little I've seen it's all for the good; ending Bernie's autocracy & bringing in several people to do individual sectors of the business. I don't know much about Ross Brawn, but those older friends of mine & my dad are excited to have him back in the sport after what he did back as a team owner, & team principal at Ferrari.

i watched it to give formula e a chance
it was shit,terrible race,terrible cars,terrible track and absolutely noooooooooo atmoshphere,i absolutely love motor racing and devour it in almost any form,but fomula e is probably the biggest let down ive ever had the misfortune to watch

Yes. The problem is that over the next 10 years or so formula one itself is on an inexorable electric-only trajectory, as road cars go that way.

Corporate and electric sterility will only increase in the Sport I am sad to say.
