I'm not quite sure that is a true reflection. Its the total package that counts. The top teams have the best cars. The top teams also have the best drivers. You will not see a great car winning a race with a poor driver (relatively) in it.
What you do see however, is an average car over-performing when it is driven by a great driver. Schumacher, Senna, Coulthard and Mansell to name just a few all managed to consistently get results when driving in less than perfect cars.
Remind me never to watch the Russia GP again, has to be one of the most boring races I have ever seen..
Mercedes win the constructors championship. After a Hamilton-Rosberg one two.

I have to agree, it was rather dull and uneventful.
Having said that, I do like the look of the track and I actually thought we might be in for a real treat.
Perhaps the next race here next season will be an improvement? I imagine the teams were probably a little uncertain what to expect and we saw the evidence of this with numerous race strategies taking place. Sometimes this can add excitement I know, but unfortunately today it simply spread the field and somewhat nullified the action.
bit of a borefest tbh, good result for lewis all the same and a phenomenal recovery drive from nico rosberg, also good to see a marked improvement from mclaren,i think the biggest problem was pirrelli went too conservative on the tyre choice, but as they had no previous data to fall back on i guess they thought better safe than sorry, after last years debacle at silverstone with the tyres they have been very cautious on tyre choices as they were lambasted for this and have been very cautious ever since, hopefully next years race will be better,it is a reasonably good track in a beautiful setting,a lot better than i thought CoolCoolCool

go lewis
When Pirelli inspected the track layout, the new tarmac hadn't been laid so they went very conservative on the compounds chosen. If they'd actually seen the Tarmac that went down, there's no way Rosberg would have made his tyres last so long.
Latest reports regarding Michael Shumacher indicate that he is beginning to respond to treatment following his accident. His consultant has said that recovery from injuries such as his takes between 1 to 3 years. It was also reported a week or two ago that the injury was not the result of his head hitting a rock as such, but more down to the camera mount on his helmet striking the rock. GoPro riders beware!
