Verstappen won the Austrian GP with Charles Leclerc coming second .
I listen to it on the radio but they didn't seem enthusiastic about covering it. Every 5 minutes it was interupted to report on the cricket even though they've a second station that does that full time.

I suppose it's hardly surprising with Verstappen being so far ahead.

I read that Hamilton thinks that to reduce the liklihood of one team dominating there should be a moratorium on the development of next year's cars until later in the year and I'd be in favour of anything that broke it up.

It's Red Bull now, before it was Mercedes, before them Red Bull again and earlier Ferrari, Mclaren and Williams. Each for several years.

If it were a healthy contest I'd estimate that say 9 - 10 drivers would win in any given season representing say half as many teams. No driver or team would score nil points and the range between the top and bottom might be only 50. I think that Verstappen's about a 100 points ahead of his nearest rival already.

Next weekend it's Silverstone and live on Channel 4 but I think it'll be the Sky people who seemed a little dull last year. I would expect that Just Stop Oil will try something big and that might be the most covered thing of the weekend.
British GP weekend saw Max Verstappen win. But he joined on the podium by two Brits, Norris and Hamilton.

The pressures on Sergio Perez after another poor showing from him. Red Bull may be looking for a replacement at the next opportunity.
Daniel Ricciardo is to replace Nyck De Vries at Alpha Tauri.
My former work friend who is a big Danny ric fan is buzzing for his return hopefully give alpha tauri a much needed boast after a dreadful season to date
In the Hungarian Grand Prix Verstappen overhauled pole-sitting Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton off the line and never looked back to take his seventh win of the season and give Red Bull their new milestone of 12 wins, which surpasses the 11 set by McLaren during the 1988 season.
Sky's coverage managed to sink to new depths at the weekend with Nico Rosberg, Danica Patrick and the "F1 Juniors".

If this carries on much longer I'll be cancelling.
I see Red Bull and Verstappen won their gazillionth race in a row by 8000 years laugh. Makes even the piss poorest nightshows look interesting Rolleyes.
I managed to avoid more F1 tedium by spending 3 days at the BTCC. A fraction of the price and infinitely more fun.
I read that Filipe Massa's lawyers have begun proceedings to wrest from Hamilton victory in the 2008 F1 championship.

Massa is one of my all time favourite F1 drivers, I always warmed to him, partly because he was just shy of a title.
I'd defend his right to contest the result in the courts too.

However, I just wish he wouldn't. I just seems too long ago and too desparate.

I've read too that even if he was to win his case, such a result would set the necessary legal precedent and the resulting verdicts would maintain Lewis's superiority.
