Just watched it back on Sky plus.
Excellent drives from Hamilton and Verstappen. Delighted with that result.

Lewis Hamilton wins the Russian GP and now leads Vettel by 50 points with just 5 races left. Mercedes as expected did switch positions with Bottas & Hamilton with around 30 laps left

F1 championship was dead for all intents and purposes 3 races back...bring on 2019 and more of the same

If you have the best car and don't crash you are going to win. Lewis has the manager i wish Alonso had. Lewis is quick but lucky.

Not a bad race but I didn't agree with the Mercedes switch-over at all. Completely unnecessary and basically robbed Valtteri of a win he deserved. I'm sure Toto Wolf will be vigorously patting Valtteri's balding head right now. Desperately trying to explain that Lewis had a blister ( ) might yet have an unexpected DNF so they need to create the largest gulf between him and Vettel as possible.
Yeah, yeah whatever, we all know that but it wasn't necessary IMO and I felt for him

I did chuckle at the sight of Vladimir Putin looking like a spare part on the podium

Hamilton won his 80th pole position at a rain affected Japanese GP this morning

With Vettel down in Ninth on the grid it is more than likely means that a Hamilton win will mean he will be one step closer winning his fifth drivers title

Hamilton wins the Japanese GP. Bottas ended up being 2nd.
