Lewis Hamilton has won his sixth world championship with 2nd place in the US Grand Prix. Valtteri Bottas won and Max Verstappen finished third.
Congrats to Lewis.
A thoroughly deserved 6th title.
Lewis won the final GP of the session at Abu Dhabi.
Verstappen was runner up and Leclerc was 3rd.

A very interesting article in The Independent (with reference to Hamilton's opinion) pointing out that UK viewing of F1 declined in 2019 because Channel 4 only showed highlights whilst F1's global research director Matt Roberts had thought that viewing would surge since highlights are screened in prime time slots.
I watched most of them, both qualifying and race and thought that too often the highlights were hidden away in the schedules or very late at night.
I would not want the reaction here to entail revision of Channels 4's coverage. I thought they were doing all they could and especially enjoyed the input of Steve Jones, Lee Mckenzie and Mark Webber.
I enjoyed listening to Saturday's qualifying on BBC Radio 5 whilst watching a different model of Ferrari Heart on the television Big Grin
The Racing Point F1 team will become the Aston Martin F1 works team for at least 10 years with effect from the 2021 season.

Aston Martin has agreed a £500m equity rescue deal led by the billionaire Lawrence Stroll under which the British car brand will enter Formula One

But aren't Aston Martin one of the sponsors of Red Bull
Red Bull have announced that deal will end at the end of this year.
This years Chinese Grand Prix is doubtful in April

The F1 2020 season is officially underway now as the first day of winter testing in Barcelona has started this morning
The Bahrain GP will be see no spectators allowed to attend due to the Coronavirus.
