Hamilton wins and Vettel may be held responsible for the smash at the first corner
Ferrari really ballsed that up. Can't say I'm sorry.
Who says Karma doesn't come back and bite you in the ass?
The stewards have botttled it. They ruled none of Vettel, Raikkonen and Verstappen 'predominantly to blame' for spectacular first-lap crash

Here's their statement
'The Stewards examined video evidence and heard from Sebastian Vettel, the driver of Car 5, Kimi Raikkonen, the driver of Car 7, Max Verstappen, the driver of Car 33 and the team representatives.

'Driver of Car 7 had a very good start and was able to attempt overtaking of Car 33 on the left hand side. At the same time, Car 5 which had a slower start, moved to the left hand side of the track; Car 33 and Car 7 then collided resulting in a chain collision with Car 5 and ultimately Car 14 (Fernando Alonso) at the next turn. Cars 7, 5 and 33 had to retire immediately as a result of the incident; and Car 14 retired some laps thereafter.'
That is merely a narrative verdict. A cop out indeed.

Incidentally, anyone else think Hamilton has matured a lot this season, comports himself and speaks with far more gravitas than previously?
Vettel's got a turbo problem. Ferrari could get him repaired on time for the qualifying and he'll start a the back of the grid.
Hamilton outperformed them all to get on pole. Raikkonen joins him on the front row.
Hamilton second just pitted but great drive from Vettel from back of grid
Race over & Lewis Hamilton will be very satisfied indeed as he has been able to extend his championship lead to 34 points as he finished 2nd & Vettel finished 4th.

Also after the race on the slowdown lap Vettel crashed into stroll losing his Ferrari a tyre & got a lift back to the pits from a sauber.

Vettel could be in trouble for the crash including not fixing his steering wheel on his Ferrari, plus is looking like he has to have his gearbox changed for the next race in Japan which will be a 5 place grid penalty at a track where Mercedes are strong
^ No Vettel's bullet proof. The FIA have one set of rules for him and another set of rules for everyone else
