It was mentioned on the radio that he was still undergoing surgery.
Forum members should be thinking of him instead of this aimless bickering regarding the showing of the incident
My thoughts are with Bianchi at the moment.
Wishing him a full recovery Cool.
my thoughts are also with bianchi. hope he can make a full recovery and resume his career. was being lined up at Ferrari to replace either Alonso or Raikkonen.
Vettel is going to Ferrari
I'm sure a video clip will appear soon enough on the net for all those who wish to view the incident. Not for me, I can still just recall seeing Ayrton Senna's crash live; and they chose not to show that in later highlights too as I recall. My dad had to explain to me why and what had happened due to me being a little young to understand back then..... Was it really 1995??

Sounds like bianchi at least out from surgery by now, and in recovery. How bad the outcome and if he will return to any form of normal life or motorsport, only time will tell. Look at poor Schuey.... survived two careers in F1 only to hit a rock while skiing.
At least we know for the moment, that he is breathing on his own.

Are the Japanese authorities likely to take it any further?

not officially announced yet but all but confirmed that he is given red bull announced he was.

as for vettel's team-mate at Ferrari. does seem that raikkonen will be returning from rumours ive seen. also skysports f1 were indicating raikkonen will be back

wonder if these rumoured moves go ahead with Alonso and Vettel, what will happen to jenson button. will he decide to retire now as I think McLaren will keep Magnussen and that means if Alonso joins, button will go

I have to agree they were right not to show the footage in the highlights, also good to hear that Bianchi's condition is improving, and the Senna fatal crash was in 1994 on the 1st May at Imola and of course it was the third big crash of that weekend and second fatality, the other driver was Roland Ratzenburger who was killed in practice the day before.i have say im amazed today's race was allowed to continue in that much rain but i suppose we will have to wait for an inquiry to decide whether it went on too long.
Just seen that Andrea De Cesaris has died in a motorcycle accident in Italy. Bad day for Formula 1

The BBC weren't right. They just didn't have any footage of the crash, so they couldn't have shown it in the highlights anyway.
