I can see Webbers point of view though, he followed team orders so Vettell should have to aswell, and Red Bull always seem to make Vettell the priority over him even if Webber is having the better race, If I was in Webbers position i'd leave Red Bull as soon as possible and look to move to a team like McLaren or Mercedes or Ferrari where they seem to give both the drivers equal oppourtunities more often.

ok from now on when the F1 races take place early hours of the morning like today and last week i wont post anything until the re-run of the race has been on in the afternoon.

with webber. think he was right to react the way he did and think he will leave red bull at the end of the season or possibly at some point this season and red bull will bring in either vergne or ricciardo from toro rosso to replace him

Only a fool would believe Hamilton has gone to Mercedes as anything other than Team Leader. Also, Ross Brawn is no fool, he knows which of his drivers is the best long term bet and it isn't Rosberg.

If Webber doesn't stay with RedBull next year, there's a strong rumour that he will go to V8 Supercars alongside Casey Stoner.

Was Hamilton favoured? If the cars were the other way around with Rosberg ahead surely team orders would have been just the same, to hold positions and bring the cars home safely.

...

or maybe if people haven't heard the result and are waiting for the re-run, they should just not view this thread until afterwards. Simple really Smile

Webber is in a tricky spot because of his age, he is clearly coming to the end of his F1 career, so it will be tough to get another top job like Red Bull as teams are more likely to favour an up and coming driver.
Chances are this will blow over but I wouldn't be surprised if Webber moves on from F1 at the end of this season as it seems clear he will not be allowed to win the championship with Red Bull.

If it doesn't blow over, Perez is looking pretty awful, how about he gets the boot, and Webber takes his place at McLaren Big Grin

Yes I was surprised that bytor was reading this thread in the first place if he was waiting for the re-run. I don't think that giving away details of a sports event that's already happened is a true spoiler. Anyway I notice that Vettel is trying to claim that he hadn't heard the instruction correctly, but this has been dismissed by Red Bull who said he chooses what he wants to hear. It seems that Red Bull have no control over what Vettel does.
I think its clear to see that the top bosses at red bull clearly favour vettel, dispite them always claiming their are no team orders, vettel always seems to get everything his own way, i.e like pit stops and tactics, mark has always seemed more like a support driver, there just to help vettel win more championship. seems a bit like when lewis hamilton was maclaren driver when alonso joined, lewis was the golden boy at the team.
For God's sake it's supposed to be a race. Well done Vettel. I think it makes a mokery of F1. He won, the team won. If he's run out of fuel or got a puncture fair enough but he was in a race and he won it. What's the point otherwise.
I also agree that if you don't want to know the result avoid this thread until you do
The point being he's employed by Redbull to be part of a team, they pay his wages, he has a boss, he should listen and do what he is told by the boss and play as part of a team, what he did was disrespectful to his team and to webber... If I was the team boss at redbull i'd pull Vettell out of the next race and get a stand in driver just to prove a point who the boss is....
I understand what you're saying Fernandez but his employers are disrespecting the fans who pay hundreds of pounds to see the races and they aren't genuine. It's in comparison to going to a concert and the singers miming
