After being the fastest driver all week Hamilton clips the wall in qualifying and ends up with a broken wheel.

Rosberg ends up on pole and Hamilton probably in 10th position
Hamilton on pole for the Austrian GP.
Hamilton wins.
Roseberg's lead is now only 11 points
In the qualifiers at Silverstone this afternoon Hamilton ended up on pole, Roseburg 2nd and Verstappen is 3rd on the grid.

It's just poured it down for about 10 minutes, but luckily the suns now out.
The starts going to be behind the safety car until the track dries.
Hamilton wins & Roseburg 2nd
But Mercedes are in trouble because they've given Roseburg advice over the radio
Rosberg has been given a 10 second penalty which demotes him to 3rd place, but Mercedes say they will appeal.
great day
great result
not really a great race, nobody challenging mercedes at all, brief bit of hope when verstappen was going at it with nico but when your there and you see the gap from mercedes to the rest its astounding
i remember posting about this a couple of years ago from the british gp
the rest arent catching mercedes at all
every time they move closer mercedes just move further away,
still,a great time and a great result for the british fans
I don't usually watch the pre-amble to the qualifying or races these days, but I stuck it on channel4 in the background today. This Steve whatshisbollocks who presents is an absolute arse of the highest order, a totally clueless, incompetent prick. I've actually had to turn the sound off to avoid getting any more worked up by his uselessness, he is an embarrassment. They need to sack him and give the job to either Lee Mackenzie, who does a decent turn on the practice shows, or Suzie Wolff, who is doing her best to cover the lanky ones screw-ups at present.

On a more interesting note, looks like rain, or at least a wet track, for qualifying, so anything could happen Smile
