I'm hoping next year's new engine regs will do to Vettel what the 2005 tyre changes did to Schumacher. The jungle drums are saying the Mercedes engine will be the pick of the bunch next year.

Somethings got to change, can't knock Vettel or Redbull but its getting a bit boring to watch unless you're a die-hard-can't-miss-a-moment fan. I actually turned the highlights off on Sunday as soon as Vettel built a 25 second lead up on the 2nd place car

Another predictable day in Formula 1 as Vettel and Webber make it a Red Bull 1-2 in qualifying for the US Grand Prix, with Vettel just edging Webber out by 0.103secs. Not much else to report. Kovalainen was 8th for Lotus driving as a stand-in for Raikkonen, who ended the season 2 races early to have back surgery.

It's not dead. Next year uncle Bernie is going to give the title to Vettel before the start of the season. He is then going to tell Red Bull to take the year off and let the other teams fight each other to see who comes top of the 'also rans' Should add some excitement

I've got the answer. Scrap qualifying and just do a random draw for the grid positions.
