Bianchi's car I assume?
Correct. It was taken back to the FIA garage after the race.
I would imagine then that if an official investigation is launched by the Japanese authorities, that could have ramification for the whole of F1
BBC need to sort themselves out, showing the race highlights and not showing the crash... and yes the race should have gone ahead, there have been races in worse conditions in the past, crashes happen.

Hope he gets better but it is a dangerous sport and this is the risk the drivers take

apparently the fia did put forward the option of starting the race early to avoid the very conditions but the race organisers said no and would keep the race at it's original start time

Hindsight as they say is a wonderful thing but it's no easy decision to put the race on earlier. There are other considerations that the race officials have to consider. The way the teams are set up over a race weekend means that they are working to a schedule. While they could make an earlier deadline it would cause some major headaches and uncertainty for the teams and be less of a spectacle. The main reason though is the tv schedules would be out across the world. TV executives around the world would be pissed off at that, given the vast amounts of money they pay. What about the paying public attending the race too? There would be thousands unable to get to the circuit in time, meaning the organisers could be faced with huge losses as they would have to offer refunds.
Think it is likely a nightmare getting out of Japan and over to Russia in time for next weekend right now
Re the weather.

The rain was forecast to hit at the scheduled race time for several days in advance, it would have been quite easy to move it forward an hour or 2 as most fans get to the track well before the race is due to start. NASCAR frequently have rain delays, often taking the Daytona500 into the following day and the TV companies make room for it.

First of all, now knowing the ramifications, why the fuck would you want to see the crash?

Secondly, the crash was not on the live show either. Nobody ( by this I mean me the viewer and the commentators ) knew Bianchi was involved in a crash almost until the race was stopped. You could not see Bianchi's car - just a lifter and Sutils car. It was thought the ambulance was for Sutil.
Because it was part of the race and I want to see what happened, you have a problem with that?

Yes.
