Actually Danica is the one I CAN stand! It is Simon and the numpty in the comms box that I cannot abide - D Croft that poor old M Brundle has to stomach too. I feel for him!
Also, If ever there was a job 'created' for a mate, it is the one occupied by Ted Kravitz - Surplus to requirements doesn't even come close! Karun Chandhok on the other hand is exceptional. If only he would come over to Formula E to replace Jack Nicholls, alongside Dario Franchetti

Lets hope that the Mercedes updates that are planned are a step forward.

It's qualifying this afternoon for the Monaco GP. It's the one race where the qualifying means more than any other race.

As this tight tracked race wouldn't be happening if it wasn't at the home of the European rich anfd famous.

Qualifying for the grid for the Canadian Grand Prix ended with Max Verstappen ahead of Nico Hulkenberg and Fernando Alonso in third.

However Hulkenberg will now start 5th on the grid after being penalised for not slowing sufficiently when a red flag was shown.

Haven't even bothered watching F1 for a while. I presume Verstappen is zillions of points ahead in the so called 'title race' and that Red Bull are miles in front in the constructors cos I can't be arsed to check .

Haven't watched any of it. If i feel the itch, i just watch some old Senna / Prost punch-up's on youtube

Afraid so snooks max is way clear he could take a few races break and still be ahead
Whilst fingers crossed for the second half of the season a battle between Ferrari mercedes and Alonso and maybe Perez will get his act together whilst stroll needs to up his game with Aston Martin or I feel they'll get rid of him

It's the Austrian GP this weekend from Spielberg.

Qualifying happened today with Verstappen gaining pole position for Sunday's GP race. Joining him on the front row is Charles Leclerc.

Tomorrow is the Sprint Qualifying session in the morning followed by the Sprint race in the afternoon.
