Lewis Hamilton wind the Eifel GP and equals Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 race wins and leads the championship by 70 points to Max Verstappen with just 6 races left. Bottas retired with power unit issues

Top 3

1: Hamilton (Mercedes)
2: Verstappen (Red Bull)
3: Ricciardo (Renault)

Then as Lewis was being interviewed post race, Michael Schumacher’s son Mick presented Lewis with one of his dad’s Mercedes race helmets and Lewis was getting a bit emotional with this classy gesture from the Schumacher family
Phenomenal achievement by Hamilton.
He has been outstanding so far in the 2020 championship too.
During the interviews did Daniel Ricciardo get the boot off to fill full of champagne.
He always seems surprised that there never any takers to have a drink out of it.
What's all the talk about George Russell may lose his place at William to Sergo Perez.

Russell one of the top up and coming drivers and Perez is just ... dangerous to the other drivers.

Russell continueously out performs the other Williams driver Nicholas Latifi.
If Williams want to be stupid enough to bring in Perez then it should be at Latifi's expense.
I'm watching the qualifying from Portugal on Channel 4 just now.
As I understand they've never been to this track before, they're only there this year because they've had to limit it to Europe.

It looks like a fantastic place, if I didn't know it could have been any of the other circuits they usually use.

In the UK I've seen three used: Silverstone's still good, Brand's can't be used because the run offs are too small and because of the infrastructure. Donnington presumably would be alright with a bit of work.

Which made me think. How many F1 or F1 capable circuits are there all told? A hundred do you think? Certainly no need to chop down trees to make any more nor need the electric cars drive 'round car parks.
No surprises as Hamilton beats Bothas for pole position in the Portugese GP.

Lewis Hamilton........RECORD BREAKER.

92 WINS!!.
Jenson Button is still a more likable British F1 champion.
Congratulations to Lewis on breaking Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 race wins.

As for the race itself. Very tricky for Lewis at the start because of a bit of rain going down to 3rd but once he got his tyres fired up and retook the lead, the win was never in doubt.

Lewis leads the drivers championship by 76 points now from Bottas
