She is better than some of the drivers racing in F1. Sadly she doesn't attract the kind of sponsorship required to pay for a seat with the smaller teams.

Somebody's missing a trick, then.
If she makes the step up she'll attract more publicity than all the small-team drivers put together.
Assuming she is good enough then she deserves an opportunity in F1 for sure. F1 should not be a closed shop.
Claire Williams has been quoted as saying Susie is by far the best test driver they could have promoted, and has worked well with the team, techs, drivers, crew, for the last 3yrs as development driver and is both fast and skilled in relaying the changes needed to the people who need to make them. or words to that effect.... (the article is on the skysports f1 page.)
there's no reverse parking in f1 so she should be fine! Big Grin
2015 will be Susie Wolff's 13th Season as a Driver.

To date, she has yet to win a race in any Category she has driven in outside of Karting. She scored 4 Formula Renault podiums in the early part of her career and never placed higher than 13th in DTM. Her highest Championship position was 5th in Formula RenaultUK in 2004

I would love to see a good female Driver in an F1 race seat, but she isn't it.

She's the UK equivalent of Danica Patrick. All style and very little substance.
Fortunately, whether or not she's won any race has little bearing on being competant to do this job....!

As for lack of wins, hamilton, rosberg, ricciardo aside (he won one race i recall).... no other driver won a race this season in f1.

It's not only about winning, but in having the skill in developing a winning car in the first place. Anyone recall what car was next fastest to the Mercedes pairing..? oh, yes... Williams...! and i don't believe it was all down to the engine, as two other teams failed to get anywhere near as close with that same power unit.....
Formula 1 have announced that there will be no double points on offer for the last race next year.
The FIA accident report found that Jules Bianchi did not slow down sufficiently to avoid losing control when he crashed at the Japanese GP.
