London would be the same you wouldn't get much opportunities for passing if a street race was held there!!
Monaco is just an excuse for the sponsors. It's just sun & fun, with lots of babes & celebrities. But street circuits make losy races as there's few passing places.

I think if Monaco was applying today for the first time it wouldn't be taken very seriously.

the chances of monaco ever being dropped from the calendar are absolutely zilch,even leaving the tobacco issue to one side,this is the biggest party for all the sponsors and the teams to wine and dine their most important clients,treat them all to the best free-ba-thon and generally whoop it up with the best of everything and the most glamourous people and surroundings,so for this reason alone i think monaco will always be part of the f1 circus
congratulations to a very popular first time winner in daniel ricciardo,not bad for a new recruit to red bull,looks to have settled right in to the team and not shy to giving sebastian vettel a run for his money,looks like hes not going to settle for being a number two driver ,amazing recovery from red bull considering where they were pre season,gutted for lewis hamilton all the same
How weird that both the Mercedes came down with the same problem at the same time. It's like someone hacked into their on-board computers and messed them up.
You could just tell something dramatic was going to happen on the last lap, with those three cars crawling over each other. Vettel was very lucky not to get collected by the other two.

I have always said put vettel in a average car and it's clear he is nothing special, there are far better drivers than him out there....
Montreal was easily the best race of the season so far. I think it's one of the better circuits anyway and is normally one of the better races. And I thought the 2014 season was looking like one of the most predictable ever - but it would have been impossible to predict all the things that happened in this race.
so it looks like both championships are wide open again
