I always thought that Astra has transponders available for 'testing' well away from the public gaze.
Rather pointless to actually transmit a full signal when few can actually see. Or find it by pure accident.
942 went down very quickly the day before they were due to start. That they were ready to start was evident, baring the AR issue, on the very day the EPG stated. After all, a new channel usually has to give 28 days notice to take over - more than enough time to test elsewhere. I just wonder if they are in dispute with Sky over their EPG fees.

sintv never said they were launching on the 8th. it just appeared on the epg that they would be on 942 on the 8th. just because it disappeared doesn't mean sintv are in dispute with sky. think you are putting 2+2 together and getting 6

Yes, Sin TV didn't say they were launching on Ch 942 on the 8th, it was only the Sky program guide, and on screen info on Sky Ch 942 that showed Sin TV broadcasting from the 8th.
The thing is though, program info just doesn't appear on the EPG on it's own, some one had to provide the program info for it to be shown starting on Sky TV Ch 942 on the 8th , so i assume but not certain that someone connected to Sin TV originally gave out the EPG info that showed Sin TV programs starting from the 8th on Ch 942 .
So possibly something somewhere hasn't gone to the original plan ?, or the provider of the channel program guide info got it wrong ?.

Well I figured out why they have got that 'plastic' cover over the couch.
They do not want to ruin the furniture when the girls wet themselves in worry over lack of calls.

Did Torri get any earlier ? Not when I was watching. Had many breaks too. Must have bee afraid of wetting the bed as well
Tiffany had several calls tonight in her laundry room section - I spoke to her and she said that Sin will be on Sky this weekend!
