^ Sensible chap.
There are levels of addiction. (I've yet to decide how bad I've got it!)
Sets, camera equipment, website, tv adverts(channel), girls. A whole month of airing deadshows where the girls were live(getting paid) but not taking calls.
Burning Money, but without any forseeable plan.
Sintv money making plan.
Step 1: Girls
Step 2: ?????
step 3: profit
Jokes aside, Its a shame to lose a channel from the Babeshow landscape, because competition is always good for the business as a whole.
I guess the question on my mind is where do they go from here?
Do they:
A) Pack up shop, shut the company down and that's the end of that chapter, SinTV no more
or
B) Shut down temporarily until they can sort out any financial issues and try to restart the production again with a new structure across the board, from models, to producers to management.
Personally, i do hope it's option B, and i'll tell you why. SinTV had a LOT of potential, but there were factors that just went against them. All of these factors, or most of them, were the management. They pull the purse strings, they authorise the pay packets of the models they sign. If what has been said then costs were astronomically high. Correcting this by making changes to contracts IS possible, but only under the hands of new owners/management. Under the current crew, all contracts must be honoured, inluding pay. The only hope of a revival is a major change in spending, and given that i will never have a budget figure of their overheads to actually work out anyhting, I can only speculate change needed. That change is a basic salary for the girls, no more than £120-150 for a night's work. This gets topped up by commision on the number of calls they recieve. Hopefully, this would mean the hard working models know they have to really get stuck in to get those calls, and it should weed out the greedy not so hard working models who are on the books. The second thing, cost permitting of course, is the web stream - they need more. Having 4/5 girls in one night is ok, but with only two streams to watch, that were hardly ever on or being cut with breaks, it turns people off. Three girls on one screen obviously was not working. The sets need a drastic change too, take out the sets that enable too much lying down and build a set that will make the models work more.
However, it seems there is more to this that meets the eye, said on Twitter by Ruby Summers i think it was, there must be an underlying issue that none of us will ever know
Also, i'd like to point out that i know most of the models on these babeshows are very hard working girls who travel all over to do photoshoots, film and all kinds of other stuff, and i acknowledge this wholeheartedly, and i admire it, but lets face it, on the babeshows, there are a few bad eggs in the box, or should that be on the box?

i only watch when i want to call
Some of us do call the girls, but the costs were so high those calls were limited to time spent on the phone. Some of us also like doing screencaps to show our support for our favourite models on here (as i did a few weeks ago with DH, whole nights cappin' away quite happily). Just my thoughts there though

Then I must be a lost cause

I would love for stormTV to somehow someway buy/get their studio/equipment it would do them the world of good.
Or sintv themselves could go the same route as stormTV, just cut cost significantly, have some fresh new girls come in, less drama, less overheads and just run 1 girl a night and build from there.
Just reading some of the poetry y'all written and while letting it run through my head i coudln't help but see an image of Roger Rabbit and Bob Hoskins singing them in a duet in my head... that has to be the wierdest thing i've ever had happen to me thought wise

i was just curious, maybe i should have started a thread about this. or is there one.
not knocking anyone for it, i used to watch the channels in the good old says because they were worth watching unlike now IMHO

Your step 1,2,3 seems accurate

Best bet from here I would have thought... BUT which girl is going to trust Sin now given the non-payment accusations flying around. They would have to pay in advance for a while!
