I agree, the money they are spending is out of all proportion to the return they must be getting. Sin TV seem to have started with a 'money is no object' philosophy, although cutting back on the x-streams at least shows that some degree of reality has dawned on them.

Thanks Kerry Louise and yes i did enjoy your show so much that I recorded it on to a DVD via Sky TV
Kerry`s quote of non stop calls !!!!!!!!! (at Storm TV) is another indication of the lack of calls in general to SIN TV

To clarify (since the reader may have missed the point)

A normal studio will have sets built from a 'shell'. And very little money will be spent on them in proportion to the income. You would not in your right mind spend £200+ on a washing machine as a prop.

I think most of these 'sets' were already in place before Sin acquired them.

My theory is that the studio is in some multi-room apartment where the only created set was the pole maybe out of a spare bedroom.

Remember my earlier post of the label on the bedroom door that read "Please service my room" ?

reason i say do a deal with "the hub" is guys are uploading the content there any way, this would go some way to limiting or at least have some control over it.
they also wont have to worry about 15* guys recording blocking up there bandwidth either. "the hub" has a huge distribution so server load wouldnt be an issue. good by stuttering streams Smile.
what is hub tv?

Second-hand? Non-working stuff?

It's an ordinary studio. A more purpose built one than the other channels use perhaps but an ordinary small studio of the sort usually used for TV commercials and alike. (Tori flipped the board that the use for adjusting white balance on the cameras on one of her early shows. It showed a studio logo that may well have been the one they use. I can't say which it was on here for obvious reasons.)

P.S. I looked up the camera shown on a recent pic on Sin's twitter ('cause I'm sad like that! Tongue). They (Sony PMW-300K1 exmor XDCAM HD) cost £5K retail.

Second-hand. Def not working to its potential now Smile

But equipment such as cameras is more than likely to be leased.

So how does anyone explain that label on the bedroom door ?

A Leica 35mm still camera can cost more than that...
