Yes I'm having the same problems with the web streams. Very jumpy freezing & blurry. I've tweeted them as well. Well annoying indeed
I was trying out different stream qualities and when it is set at 1590 kbps, the ratio changes to a thin strip :

It could be that more people have heard about sin tv now and there is just more strain on the streams, I don't know.
Lets hope Sin-TV production is better when it goes live on Sky on 8th April
xJ4Kx,same thing happened on Thursday night on stream 4, but their was'nt so much of a problem with streaming as their is tonight.(just like to say when the stream is constant the quality of the picture is excellent).
Well I can not replicate the issue with the aspect ratio as described above. The 1590 kbps stream is fine right now.
If there was such an issue it will be down to their own encoding or the server simply burped.
But they are creating a rod for their own back here. It is all well and good sending multiple bit rate streams but since these all packaged in the same mpeg2 transport-stream (presumably the tv signal will use this same stream from an IP feed) they are throwing away bandwidth and if they pay per bit it is gonna be a big bill landing on the mat quite soon.
There is a very good reason why the other channels upload mpeg2 to the tv but encode as flash for the web.
But even with the delightfull Ella s-r-n (stark-raving-nekkid in case you wonder), she does not have a single caller. Not good for the coffers.

personally i don't think the picture quality on the 1590 kbps stream is that good, the trouble is even though the 3250 kbps stream is better quality it keeps bloody freezing, maybe they need a 2500 kbps stream? but what the fuck do i know about all this technical shit
Sorry to say this but Tiffany is on sin-tv live now and it is unwatchable, stream absolutely crap.
