Just saw the clock and suddenly panicked. Thought I'd missed the start tonight, but just checked and there's still a few minutes to go. Smile
great ep!! very interesting too about the cracks! we know what they are, now its what caused it, something to do with the pandorica, obviously, which will be the finale with river song from the sounds of it, also sounds like a cosmic reset so the public isn't aware of aliens.......
Am i alone in thinking that the Doctor really should've jumped Amy pond's bones
being as she was putting it on a plate for him....Wuss Tongue

Good episode apart from that Big Grin
it just gets better and better

and Amy is so sexy
very good episode. loved how the tension was cranked up through the episode on doctor and amy, especially on amy as if she opened her eyes for just a second she is dead.

for me what made episode brilliant was all the teasers for the rest of the series, first of all the details about the cracks that have been appearing, saying an event happens which triggers an explosion which then causes cracks to appear in time which are unwriting history

then the hints river gives saying she has killed an honest man and will be back when the pandorica is opened (matt smith revaled in dr who confidential on bbc3 that river does comeback).

and then finally after a very funny scene when amy wants to have a final fling before she gets married and flings herself at the doctor and kisses him. the doctor realises that amy is central to what is about to happen and if he doesnt sort out what. the whole universe is in danger. the final shot of the episode is a screen which shows the date Saturday 26th June 2010.

Ive worked out this is the date that the series finale will be shown and it will be set around amy's wedding, the honest man river kills is most likely to be amy's fiancee who is an alien who has the pandorica but river is too late and the pandorica is opened
oh and is it too obvious that River kills The Doctor?

yes it is. i think that is a red herring
If I was the Doctor I would have taken Amy's top off and used it as a blindfold for her so she wouldn't have had to keep her eyes closed. Smile
I might have taken advantage of her at the end as well. Maybe he did, after he dragged her into the Tardis. Smile

I also saw the "confidential" show afterwards. It showed how the gravity thing was done using wires to suspend the actors.
One of the best looking women thats been in the shows "Madame Pompadour" was also in one of the clips. Don't know what her real name is.
Sophia Myles starred in the episode "The Girl in the Fireplace" playing Madame de Pompadour.(Reinette)
One of my favourite episodes.
Very good episode, and a great end to a thrilling two-parter. The things we associate with Doctor Who were all there - tension, fear, suspense and dilemma.

Something's different about these Weeping Angels, in the Tenth Doctor episode "Blink", they 'killed' victims by sending them back in time to a past era, and let them live out their lives in the past, here they just snap their necks.. they also now seemed immune to the theory that if they all saw each other, they would be frozen forever, but that didn't seem to stop them this time like it did in Blink. Smile

"And you can't kill a stone..... Of course, a stone can't kill you either... but then you turn your back... then you blink.... and oh yes it can..." Smile
