Watched the first one last night. I presume this is the replacement for Torchwood?
I thought it was ok. Decent monsters and a bit more violence and gore than Doctor Who. I think it'll grow on me.
I like Quill alot. She looks like she could really kick ass, but it's a bit rubbish she can't use a weapon bladewave
She would've made a great replacement for Clara so I hope she's not going to be wasted in this.
Another 2 episodes on BBC1 from 22:45 on next Monday night. Have enjoyed what I've watched so far
I couldn't be bothered with Torchwood or Sarah Jane Adventures, I wasn't bothered with this, either.
Capaldi out:

He was not well served was he?

We all know what the next doc is going to look like now. How quick can you say Tennent clone?! Rolleyes

That's me out with Doctor who then. Fucking hating these actors doing doctor who to stick on their cv and raise their profile.
^^ Hmm, my feelings on the matter - 'am I bovvered'

Haven't taken to Capaldi at all, not entirely his fault, the whole show is reaching the end of the line for me.
IMO Moffat has, surprisingly given his incoming credentials, taken the show into a pretty unenticing cul-de-sac of ideas.

The show has had this kind of end-of-the-line feeling before in it's history though... So much now depends on the directions taken by the incoming producer later this year. It's pretty much make or break for the newbies I would have thought. It needs to somehow recapture real mainstream interest again. Not an altogether easy thing to achieve.

Capaldi got the job because he was high profile Rolleyes But that did lead to higher hopes than were realistic, which got trashed pretty firmly.

I would guess they've already cast his replacement. I like his style, you can't get a more low profile place to disseminate the news than being a guest on an evening radio show.

Shame for two reasons, to me he was the best doctor since Baker, a throw back to the old doctors I grew up with and got rid of this pc, lets all hug and cry it out nonsense.

He was also genuinely a true fan, so you'd think he'd treat it better.

May be he has left with Moffat or something, who knows.
