I think that was one of the most amazing maximums I've seen in snooker and hard to believe it was 20 years ago that he did it!! doubt if anyone will get close to breaking that time for a 147 for a while
Good to see Ronnie and John Higgins getting through Smile

There was a lot of crap on social media about him being sponsored by a company called ISIS too bladewave (although their logo looked like 1sis to me)

I say fair play to the old bloke for his win Cool Listening to the Eurosport guys pulling him to bits was pretty unsavoury annoyed When Virgo & Hendry sound fair-minded and generous by comparison, then things must be pretty bad...
John Higgins was imperious in his match against Mark Allen.
Allen actually made 4 centuries and 6 half century breaks but still lost 13-9.
It was a really outstanding quality match where Higgins made two of the finest frame winning clearances I have seen in all my years watching snooker.
Sunday result:

Stephen Maguire bt Rory McLeod 13-3 annoyedannoyedannoyed

Overnight scores:
Mark Selby 10-6 Xiao Guodong
Barry Hawkins 10-6 Graeme Dott
Marco Fu 8-8 Neil Robertson
I think Fu V Robertson is one that could go all the way to the last frame

Good job if they're entertaining the whole arena.

Misery Maguire might well surprise Hawkins/Dott. It's about time he did.

Please no.
I can't stand the idea of him going any further Sadbladewave.

Anyway this afternoons results:

Mark Selby bt Xiao Guodong 13-6
Barry Hawkins bt Graeme Dott 13-6
Result:
Marco Fu bt Neil Robertson 13-11

Quarter Final Draw:

Mark Selby v Marco Fu
Ding Junhui v Ronnie O'Sullivan
------------------------------------------
John Higgins v Kyren Wilson
Barry Hawkins v Stephen Maguire
Wasn't that far off with FU V Robertson going all the way was I? Maybe Fu is the one to give Selby a good run for his money
Credit to Marco, I think it was another case of passionate spirit worn down by clinical coolness.
