an absolutely shocking session scoring wise for trump yet hes only 2 behind, maybe his name is on the trophy!
That was a strange old session of snooker. Very unTrump like.
Trumps matchplay ability is being tested hard. Its important to have a good B game.
He needs to keep fighting hard and score when he gets in.
First few frames tonight are hugely important imo.

Edit: Hawkins and Walden are struggling with the occasion in their semi final.
So many errors and yet its compelling car crash viewing Rolleyes.
The one table situation and the significance of the match is proving to be a real hinderance to both players imo.
Every shot seems a struggle this afternoon so far.
It must be a bit debilitating for them both, I feel a bit sorry for them really Sad.
On a different note I have to say: Michaela Tabb is seriously hot Tongue.
Any caps or vids anyone? laugh

Edit: And so ends another day at the Crucible.
Judd Trump now trails 14-10 overnight and has to win 7-2 or better in the final session tomorrow. O'Sullivan has controlled the match in the last two sessions and has slowly built a cushion. It had to be error free snooker from Trump but alas he has made too many unforced errors and has been punished.
He now has a mountain to climb to reach the final.
Not impossible but very very difficult from 4 down with a possible 9 to play.
Barry Hawkins now level at 12-12 with Ricky Walden to set up a tense finish tonight.
A much better display from Hawkins who rattled in a string of good breaks this morning including two centuries.
A far cry from his opening two sessions where his highest break was 47.
Walden has faltered and lost 5 out of the last 6 frames.
A thrilling final session in prospect this evening.
So then its Ronnie O'Sullivan v Barry Hawkins in the final.
Ronnie slowly eased away for a comfortable win over Judd Trump 17-11 in a match where Trump was just slightly weaker in every area of the game and paid the price.
Hawkins on the other hand has done exceptionally well to recover from 6-2 and 12-8 down to beat Ricky Walden 17-14. In the first two sessions his form was awful but his fighting qualities and ability to win scrappy frames kept him in it. And this morning he found his game big time to level at 12-12.
His momentum continued tonight in a surge to 16-12 before Walden pulled back to 16-14.
Hawkins held his nerve though to win the frame he needed and now faces the ultimate test.
If he plays like he did today in the final he is not completely out of it.
He made relatively few errors today and cued very well.
O'Sullivan starts as favourite to win of course but Hawkins needs a good start tomorrow.
Were he to get that he may settle down and make a match of it.
Credit to Hawkins, winning 8 frames in a row to turn your match around is the stuff of winners.

But Ronnie's going to win.
I'm more interested in who's the referee in the final - if it's Michaela Tabb we're on to a winner... Wink

not playing 1st session likes hes going to win! thing what worries me with Ronnie is when he plays against slow or steady players, he seems to struggle or lets say gets fed up of their pace of play and Hawkins looks like a VERY steady player, with it being the world final I don't think Ronnie will get fed up, come on Ronnie!
It would be a shame if it was one way traffic in Ronnie's favour so if Barry makes it competitive thats a good thing imo.
