yeah ur rite but I do think barry is a pretty good player and quite underestimated, hes played pretty well this first session taking a 3-2 lead then its just like Ronnie to knock in 2 consecutive centuries! I know reading some pages back that some1 on here backed him at good odds, he would hav been a good e/w bet to make the final and odds would have been quite good on him, just hope that person went e/w on him just in case he doesn't win!
Barry just has to keep cueing well and not get mesmerised by Ronnie potting balls off lampshades Wink.
Its important he keeps his focus and does not get put off his own game.
Getting a great run for my money on barry hawkins, 66/1 at the start of the championship, could still do i think

watchin last frame now and Hawkins mite come out 1 behind wow, I think Ronnie shud hav put the pink on the cushion safe but for sum reason he didn't do it!
cracking black, I think Hawkins is impressing a lot of people though he keeps hanging in there!
Hawkins led 3-2 before losing the last 3 frames of the first session.
He got back to 7-7 before losing the last 3 frames of the second session.
Could be costly. His safety play was poor at 7-7 and 8-7 down. One or two mistakes against Ronnie and it is often frame over. Just a few too many errors in those last 3 frames. That may sound harsh as Barry had played exceptional snooker to get to 7-7 but it is merely an indication of what he is up against.
He needs a good start tomorrow and should he get one he simply must not throw away that hard work for a third time.
Had a little bet on Ronnie at the start at 100/30,still looking goodBig Grin

i dunno, Hawkins wont go away, come on Ronnie!
he got there In the end Smile maybe a good bet for sports personality of the year, hopefully he might get recognised for this achievement!
Credit to Hawkins, he pushed Ronnie harder than anyone has ever done previously in finals at the Crucible.
The standard of snooker was superb from both players and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
A deserving champion and a runner up who had he been up against anyone else may well have won the way he was playing.
