Pleased to see the German Masters sponsored by a dental company. So much better than those gambling ones we get fobbed off with in this country.

Poor Judd, scores a 147 and still loses. The quarters all ran to 5-4, which is impressive, but the semis weren't quite as close.

I shall of course be rooting for Selby against Fatso in the Final.
It is a cracking final in progress.
Selby leads Murphy 7-6 after trailing 5-3.
Topsy turvy match of the highest quality.
A few bad contacts though which is always disconserting.

Edit: 7-7 after Murphy clears the colours with a real tough final black off the side cushion.
First to 9 wins.

Edit 2: Mark Selby is the champion after sealing a 9-7 victory.
Phew! Well done.
Ronnie describes the 1st couple of rounds of Welsh Open venue like playing in. a shopping centre, he further said he wasn't bothered if he lost because he hated the venue

Mark Selby is now out of the Welsh Open, beaten 4-3 by Belgian Luca Brecel.
Luca Brecel has been a decent prospect for a little while now.
Hopefully this is the time for him to start realizing his potential.
He is a very talented cueist.
Still on course for a Higgins-Williams final Smile
